How To Get Here

Nearly all of our Early Years and Infant pupils are brought to school by their parents/ carers but many of our older children make their own way, travelling on foot or by bicycle, scooter, tram or bus. All children need to arrive by 08.50am in order to be registered promptly with their Class Teacher.

For pupils making their own way by public transport, the TfL site is the place to look for the most up to date information. Student discount forms for travel on public transport can be picked up from any main railway stations.

By Bus
The two closest bus stops to the academy are the Commondale bus stops (Stops K and E) and the Putney Common bus stops (Stops AP and D).

The Commondale bus stops (Stops K and E) are three minute walks to the school. The 22, 265, 378, 485, N22, N33, and N72 busses reach this stop.

The Putney Common bus stops (Stops AP and D) are two minute walks to the school. The 22 bus reaches these stops.

By Train
The nearest station is Barnes. On arrival you can take the 265 bus one stop to the Commondale bus stop or walk between 15 and 20 minutes to the school.

On Foot
Walking from central Putney takes approximately 25 minutes, and from Barnes station, between 15 and 20 minutes.

By Bicycle
Pupils may cycle or scoot to school (accompanied by a parent where necessary), locking their bikes securely away in a cycle rack. We advise all cyclists to wear helmets and high visibility garments at all times on their journey to and from school.
