Welcome to Oasis Academy Putney!

I am absolutely delighted to welcome you to our school community. At Oasis Academy Putney, we are deeply committed to every single child’s journey; their happiness, their growth, and their success are of paramount importance to us. We believe that every child deserves to thrive, and we work tirelessly to ensure that happens.

Our ethos is rooted in the Oasis Nine Habits, which are woven into the fabric of our daily life. These values guide how we learn, how we treat one another, and how we grow together as a community.

We are especially passionate about learning beyond the classroom. Our school motto, “Learning beyond the classroom, growing beyond the expected,” is not just a phrase, it’s a way of life here. Our award-winning outdoor learning programme is something we are incredibly proud of. Our outdoor classrooms are a seamless extension of our indoor spaces, used throughout the day to enrich learning in meaningful and memorable ways.

We offer a rich and varied curriculum that goes far beyond the core subjects. From drama and specialist-led outdoor learning lessons to a wide range of after-school clubs and exciting trips, we provide children with experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. We also place a strong emphasis on personal development, because we know that education is about so much more than academic success; although I’m proud to say we consistently achieve above national averages in every area.

Our approach to behaviour is relational: we believe that children learn best when they feel safe, heard, and understood. Open communication and emotional wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.

Our purpose-built school is a truly special place, featuring a stunning rooftop garden and a library with over 12,000 books; spaces that inspire imagination and a love of learning every single day.
