Academy Lunches

Children in KS1 are expected to have the free healthy school lunch provided.

Children in KS2 have the option of having an Academy lunch or bringing a packed lunch.  At the beginning of each half term, you must decide whether your child will have Academy lunches or packed lunches for the duration of that period.

Academy lunches are paid for through your Parentmail account.

Packed Lunches

Please provide your child with healthy options and a balanced selection of food, e.g. fruits and vegetables and water.  Sweets, crisps and drinks are not permitted in packed lunches. Water is available for all children.

Mid-Morning Snack

Milk is provided free for the children under five years. Fruit is provided up to Year 2 as a mid-morning snack. Older children may bring a piece of fruit for break.

If your child is over five you can pay for milk to be supplied daily.  Please register at https://customers.coolmilk.com/v2/register/

Applying for Free School Meals

Free Academy meals are available to those families in receipt of Child Tax Credit, Job Seekers’ Allowance or Income Support. Please complete the online checker sent out via Parentmail each term or contact the school office.

Cool Milk

Our school provides a milk scheme that is available to all of our pupils. School milk is free for all under-fives and is subsidised for pupils aged five or older at a cost of 22p per 189ml portion.

Each pupil that registers with Cool Milk will receive a carton of semi-skimmed milk everyday, which is delivered fresh and chilled to the classroom. Their school milk will not only provide them with essential nutrients, but as it is rehydrating and energy boosting it also bridges the gap between breakfast and lunch to help children stay focused.
