Travelling to our academy
It has been lovely to welcome everyone back to school in September!
How will you travel to school this term?
Why not try coming to school by scooter or bike?
If it is essential that you drive, please be mindful of parking restrictions, local residents and above all, your child’s safety.

What is a School Travel Plan?
The School Travel Plan (STP) initiative was introduced in 2009 to encourage all schools to promote sustainable travel, in order to reduce congestion and pollution and increase healthier modes of travelling to school. The STP gives information on how people get to and from the school, identifies problems with safe and sustainable travel and sets objectives to resolve these issues.
Why Have a School Travel Plan?
The STP is an effective way of identifying issues with any aspect of school travel and provides information to all stakeholders in a single, publicly available document.
School Travel Plan 2024/25
The main objectives on the 2024/25 School Travel Plan are:
- Increase active travel
- Improve road safety knowledge and practice of children
We are currently working on our 2024-2025 Travel Plan.
Bike Marking with the Metropolitan Police Service
The police regularly set up marking events to provide cycle security advice and offer security marking and registration onto the Bike Register's online database. Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold. If your bike is ever stolen and recovered by the police, it can be traced back to you.
Find out when you can get your bike registered! https://www.bikeregister.com/events
We have been asked by Wandsworth Council to advise parents that parking in surrounding local streets is not acceptable.
