Welcome New Families to Oasis Academy Putney!
Welcome to Oasis Academy Putney!
Everything we do at Oasis Academy Putney is backed by our commitment to our motto: “Together, we learn, grow, and achieve” as well as the Oasis 9 Habits which are an invitation to a way of life characterised by being compassionate, patient, humble, joyful, honest, hopeful, considerate, forgiving and self-controlled.
We welcome each family into our school, ensuring each child settles into school well, ready to learn and thrive.
Located on the Putney Common, we make use of our proximity to outdoor space for our award-winning outdoor learning offer. We also two playgrounds for our children to enjoy, and a new, made-for-purpose building with balconies in each classroom connecting students to nature.
We have a broad and balanced curriculum, ensuring we instil a love of learning in our students as well as prepare them for the next steps in their lives. In addition to excellent foundations in the core subjects like reading, writing, and maths, each student will also have the opportunity to learn a foreign language and play an instrument.
We know students’ development continues beyond the classroom, so we have ample opportunities for students to get involved in extracurricular activities.
We also provide each student with an iPad during their time with us to use both in school and at home, so they can learn to use technology early and further their learning with independent research at home.
We hope this page contains useful information for you to get to know our school. We welcome any questions and would love to hear from you at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome you to Oasis Academy Putney! We’re so excited to have you become a part of our family and growing school.
I feel safe with the way the school is set up. If I have a concern, I'm going to be heard and my experience of the teaching staff that my children have had has been brilliant. They've had caring teachers who have not only cared by their education, but about their emotional well being as well, which in the time that we've had recently been critical. And then thirdly, I think it's the space. I think it's absolutely stunning. The building is beautiful. The location is amazing. It's such a privilege to learn in in a city school, but on a common.
