Oasis Academy Putney has announced changes to its leadership team, with Mr Glenn Lillo stepping down as Executive Principal and Mrs Tracey Norriss taking over as interim Executive Principal.
Mr Lillo thanked the community for their support and encouragement during his time at Oasis Academy Putney and expressed his hope to visit again soon.
Mrs Norriss, the long-standing and highly effective Principal of Oasis Academy Parkwood in Scunthorpe, has taken up the role of interim Executive Principal to cover the duration of Head of School Rebecca Hughes' maternity leave.
"I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been chosen to continue to develop, alongside the staff, this fantastic school," said Mrs Norriss. "My goal is to ensure all children who attend our school are happy and are provided with an enrichment of opportunities to be the best they can be, both academically and socially."
In addition to Mrs Norriss' appointment, Miss Rebecca Pickering and Miss Aisling O'Brien have been appointed as Interim Deputy Principals to provide additional leadership capacity and continuity as experienced members of the Oasis Academy Putney staff team.
"We understand that change can be unsettling, and there are so many things that are beyond our control, so we really do appreciate your support in this matter," said Adam Browne, Regional Director, London and Southeast Primaries.
